COMBITHERM was established in 1979. COMBITHERM was the first in the world to produce triple layer thermal protection and made thermal bags only at the time.

Since then, the assortment of thermal products have evolved significantly. Today, COMBITHERM is one of the leading players in Europe within production of flexible, tailored and energy efficient thermal solutions for a wide range of industries, i.e. most places where temperature sensitive goods or processes are involved or where temperature changes should be minimized.

Today, the main product range of COMBITHERM includes pallet covers, partitions, winter mats, asphalt mats, concrete mats and composite covers which are all developed and produced at the factory in Them, Denmark.

Since the beginning in 1979, their turnover and number of employees have doubled several times. On various occasions, COMBITHERM has been nominated a gazelle company and they have a triple A credit rating for the 10th year in a row. Furthermore, they have received a number of awards and distinctions, most recently the Confederation of Danish Industry Silkeborg 2017 Innovation Award.
