Shani has over 25 years’ experience in drug development with expertise in neurology therapeutic development and CNS biomarkers. Shani received her Ph.D. in biochemistry from Johns Hopkins University and postdoctoral training at UCLA. Through multiple roles and publications, she established a track record for building collaborative relationships with sponsors, clinical research sites, academic investigators, clinicians and KOLs. Areas of study include Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease as well as major depressive disorder, PTSD and bipolar disorder. She now plays a key role in implementation of remote digital EEG-synced biomarkers in neurodegenerative and psychiatric clinical trials as VP, Biopharma Business Development at Cumulus Neuroscience.
