Sarah Zweifach, MD, MBA, is currently a Product Lead at Story Health where she is focusing on building virtual specialty care programs and services. Sarah has built both physician and patient-facing tools and experiences at healthcare companies including McKesson, Zephyr Health, Bayesian Health, and AliveCor. She is also a former Rock Health fellow and is a founder, and on the global advisory council, of NODE Health, a consortium of 20+ hospital systems and ecosystem partners that serves as a home for digital medicine evidence. She holds a B.A. in Human Biology from Brown University, and an MD, MBA from New York University.

As co-founder and CEO of Rhino Health, Dr. Ittai Dayan is transforming the way healthcare AI solutions are created, adopted and measured. The Rhino Health Platform provides access to a large, distributed dataset from a diverse group of patients, powering models that deliver consistent results and, ultimately, improve health outcomes for large populations of patients. Drawing on his background as a clinician and researcher, Ittai is passionate about creating equitable access to advanced AI-based diagnostics and treatment pathways - across increasingly diverse patient populations. Ittai has studied at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He earned his MD and his Bachelors of Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His own research has been published in journals including those from Nature group, IEEE’s Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, and at the MICCAI conference.

Jessica is Director of Digital Therapeutics at Vicore Pharma of Sweden. Previously, she led the European Policy work for the Digital Therapeutics Alliance, consulted for WHO, and managed clinical projects for respiratory disease at Bellvitge Hospital in Barcelona. With 20+ years of experience in digital health - from developing virtual surgery devices to analysis and integration of digital health frameworks at national level - she now manages all aspects of digital medicine products (development, clinical validity, trial design, regulatory, evidence generation, and market access) in the US and Europe.

Dr. Agata Blasiak is the Head of Digital Health Innovation at the Institute for Digital Medicine (WisDM) and the N.1 Institute for Health (N.1) at the National University of Singapore in Singapore. She is an expert in the development and implementation of digital health technologies, and has co-developed several digital platforms for decentralized healthcare. Blasiak's research interests additionally expand to the behavioral and societal aspects of digital health solutions, and she is committed to creating innovations that have a positive impact on patients. At WisDM and N.1, she works on CURATE.AI for personalized dosing in oncology and chronic conditions, and IDentif.AI for rapid drug combination optimization in infectious diseases, among other initiatives. Blasiak holds a BScEng in Biotechnology from Warsaw University of Technology and a PhD in Bionano Interactions from University College Dublin. She is also currently pursuing a Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) at INSEAD.

Sara is the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Managing Director for Digital Health, Research, and Connected Systems at Massachusetts General Hospital. In these roles, she manages all aspects of the initiatives and programs relative to data and technology investments, research, innovation, commercialization and strategic operations. Sara is a founding executive of MGH’s Center for Innovation in Digital HealthCare, established in 2018 to guide and support the lifecycle of Mass General’s Digital Health portfolio. This includes articulating internal and external market needs, solution design, identifying growth opportunities, creating business strategies, and securing strategic partnerships to achieve the vision.

Prior to this role Sara served as a Senior Managing Director of Development for multiple departments across Mass General. During her eight-year tenure, annual philanthropic and sponsored research support increased ten-fold. Prior to Mass General, Sara served as a Director of Development for Boston Children’s Hospital where in partnership with the Board of Trustees and Hospital leadership, Sara spearheaded the initiative to establish a hospital presence in strategic national and international markets. Sara began her career at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center working in research operations, public affairs and corporate relations.

Sara is a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Foundation Board of Trustees, and an Executive Member for the Board for Fern Health and CarePassport. Graham Jones is Head of Research and Innovation for the Novartis Connected Health group. He was recruited to Novartis in 2018 from Tufts University Medical Center where he was Professor of Medicine and Director of Translational Research. He has authored over 180 publications in the fields of drug development, regulatory science and digital health and is a founder and scientific advisor to startups who have subsequently raised >$4B in capital. He was educated at Imperial College and Harvard University, and was awarded the DSc in 2006 for career contributions to medicinal chemistry.

Ana Maiques is the CEO of Neuroelectrics, a company aiming to change the way we interact with the brain, developing innovative technologies to monitor and stimulate the brain to help many patients in need. She was nominated as one of Spain's most influential entrepreneurs under 40 in 2010. She received the EU Prize for Women Innovators from the European Commission EC in 2014. For two years in a row 2015 & 2016, she was named one of the most inspiring women on the Inspiring Fifty list in Europe. In 2022, Ana co-founded EsTech, an organization of high-growth companies that want to make the impact of a new productive model more visible. Nindhana Paranthaman is an entrepreneurial physician executive passionate about developing and commercializing novel therapeutics. She has a proven track record of 10 years across the healthcare ecosystem in biopharma, consulting & clinical medicine. Nindhana brings more than 8 years of biotech and pharma industry experience in global and US-based roles of increasing responsibility. Her expertise spans oncology and immunology with first-in-class immunotherapies and targeted therapies.

Dr. Lungren is Chief Medical Information Officer at Nuance Communications, a Microsoft Company. As a physician and clinical machine learning researcher, he maintains a part-time interventional radiology practice at UCSF while also serving as adjunct faculty for other leading academic medical centers including Stanford and Duke. Prior to joining Microsoft, Dr Lungren was an interventional radiologist and research faculty at Stanford University Medical School where he led the Stanford Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging (AIMI). More recently he served as Principal for Clinical AI/ML at Amazon Web Services in World Wide Public Sector Healthcare, focusing on business development for clinical machine learning technologies in the public cloud. His scientific work has led to more than 100 publications, including work on multi-modal data fusion models for healthcare applications, new computer vision and natural language processing approaches for healthcare specific domains, opportunistic screening with machine learning for public health applications, open medical data as public good, and prospective clinical trials for clinical AI translation. Dr. Jana von Hehn has been with RSRT for 5 years and has over 15 years of drug development experience. She oversees the foundation’s clinical research efforts, including the parent-reported Rett Syndrome Global Registry, RSRT’s biorepository, and biosensor development initiative. Prior to RSRT, Dr. von Hehn led FDA-regulated clinical development programs and clinical trial operations teams at pharmaceutical companies in the Boston area to advance treatments for pediatric neurodevelopmental and epilepsy disorders, including autism, status epilepticus, complex seizures, Fragile X syndrome, and infantile spasms. Outside neurology, she was responsible for oncology programs in solid and liquid tumors and programs in the immunology and respiratory fields. She ran pivotal studies that contributed to a drug approval by the FDA in 2020, and is an inventor on a patent for a small molecule drug currently in development. She earned her PhD in genetics and molecular biology from Emory University and a BS in molecular biology and microbiology from the University of Central Florida.

Robert Wright is a Research Scientist at VivoSense focusing on development and qualification of digital measures in pediatric rare disease. Robert specializes in patient and caregiver focused methods and research design. Robert earned his PhD at the University of California, Riverside, where he created novel methodologies to capture real-world data in chronically ill patients. Robert then completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Pediatric Surgery at Stanford University. Prior to VivoSense, he worked at Evidation Health, where as a Senior Research Scientist, he designed decentralised studies employing digital sensors.

Kelly Watson is VP, Product & User Experience for Tidepool, a digital health nonprofit building solutions for people with diabetes. Kelly has worked to ensure the patient, the clinician and care partners are at the center of the product design process, leading Tidepool to achieve rapid market adoption growing its global ecosystem to nearly 400,000 people with diabetes and 12,000 clinicians. At Tidepool, she has led partnerships with many of the world’s largest diabetes medical device companies and technology companies. Previously Kelly worked in bench research at the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, FDA (CBER-OVRR DVP) and the National Institute of Mental Health prior to building out a product design consultancy. She is an angel investor and advisor for emerging digital health startups. Kelly advocates for patient ownership of health data, interoperability and open healthcare standards.

Marty is SVP, Global Head of Digital Medicine & Regulatory Innovation at EVERSANA, where he helps companies understand the dynamic landscape within digital medicine as they approach regulatory authorities and seek to commercialize their products. He is a digital medicine and digital therapeutics veteran who has developed and launched innovative products targeting oncology, Alzheimer’s, autoimmune disease, and asthma via various regulatory and commercial pathways, has designed digital therapeutics clinical trials and commercial pilot studies, and has supported more than 50 companies over the past two years on regulatory strategy and submissions, reimbursement, market access, and commercial strategy. As an indicator of his passion for innovation in digital medicine, he has been granted more than 10 breakthrough device designations by FDA for digital therapeutics and digitally-enabled medical devices.

Iman Ahmed is currently Director of Digital Therapeutics at Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc., where she leads marketing, commercialization, and launch of digital therapeutics in Otsuka’s pipeline. For the last 10 years she has focused on commercial pathways to launch and bring innovative products to market with an emphasis on improving the patient experience, especially in rare disease and mental health. Always a fan of the road less followed, she began her career in the non-profit sector in international development and public health before transitioning to management consulting and, ultimately, the life sciences industry. Her passion for mental health extends beyond the professional and in her free time she volunteers as a text line crisis counselor.

Aryana Hosseinkhani is the Senior Director of Product Marketing in Patient Cloud at Medidata, a Dassault Systemes Company. She completed her education at University of California, Davis in Genetics and shortly after began working as a bench scientist in stem cell research. Aryana began her clinical research career at Science 37 around 7 years ago, as the third employee and a founding partner. At Medidata, she focuses on product and patient communications in patient-facing technologies. She believes that when sponsors, sites, and patients have optimized experiences, drug development timelines can be expedited, and clinical research can become an option for more people. Aryana is passionate about the value of research and seeing it through from the bench to the real world. She remained at NIB for additional 5 years as a staff physician, focusing on development of novel therapies for multiple sclerosis (MS). In 2005, she became associate professor of neurology with tenure and director of the Waddell Center for MS at University of Cincinnati. In 2008, she moved back to NINDS as an investigator. In 2018, Dr. Bielekova transferred as a Senior Investigator to NIAID. Her laboratory is studying mechanisms of immunoregulation and immune-mediated central nervous system (CNS) tissue injury in MS and other neuroimmunological diseases with a long-term goal of developing effective therapies. In addition, Dr. Bielekova is a principal investigator on several innovative protocols including adaptively-designed Phase I/II clinical trials.

Leanne West is a Principal Research Scientist and the Chief Engineer of Pediatric Technologies at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she acts as innovation catalyst and ecosystem builder for medical devices. She serves as the technical liaison between Georgia Tech and pediatric hospitals around the world. Ms. West works closely with clinicians to understand and identify problems that need a solution to allow them to take better care of their patients. Ms. West is also the first President of the International Children’s Advisory Network (iCAN). Brought to the US in 2014, iCAN fosters greater global understanding about the importance of the pediatric patient and caregiver voice in healthcare, clinical trials, and research. She is a member of the International Society for Pediatric Innovation Executive Team, the PFMD Board, External Technical Advisory Committee for the Pediatric Trials Network, the Multi-Regional Clinical Trials (MRCT) Center of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Steering Committee, and the Technology Association of Georgia Digital Health Board. In 2017, she was appointed to the board of the Georgia Technology Authority for the State of Georgia. In 2014, she was named Women in Technology’s Woman of the year in Georgia. She is also a patient herself and is on the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research Patient Advisory Council and Speaker’s Bureau.

Dr. Michael Binks, M.D., is Vice President & Head of Clinical and Translational Research in the Rare Disease Research Unit (RDRU) at Pfizer. Dr. Binks qualified in medicine at University College London (UCL), UK before training in internal medicine, gastroenterology, neurology, respiratory, emergency medicine, immunology and has specialist accreditation in rheumatology with 14 years in full time clinical and research practice.

Prior to joining Pfizer, Dr. Binks was the Head of Translational Medicine at GlaxoSmithKline for 14 years in the Immuno-Inflammation Therapy Area where he established the Immuno-Epigenetics Drug Discovery Department. In his role, Dr. Binks directed the scientific, clinical and business strategies for the translation of novel target classes in epigenetics, and JAK inhibitors. Dr. Binks brings 22-years of experience translating multiple pre-clinical programs through clinical development, including small molecules, biotherapeutics and Pfizer’s Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy gene therapy program. He is the author of over 50 peer reviewed publications and 2 patents.

As the Vice President & Head of Rare Disease Clinical and Translational Research, Dr. Binks is responsible for leading a team of MDs, MD/PhDs, non-MD clinicians, translational scientists and project leaders that are responsible for translational and clinical development plans, study design and medical oversight for rare hematology, neurology, cardiorenal and endocrine/metabolic diseases.

Jochen since 2019 heads the Digital Health Innovation Chapter within Roche Diagnostics International. He holds a PhD in Bioinformatics and an Executive MBA and has more than 20 years of experience in the Life Sciences and Diagnostics industry. From 2007 to 2017 he drove innovation in the IVD business by leading the Innovation & IP Management department within Roche Diagnostics. In 2018 he established the Startup Creasphere which is now one of the leading corporate Digital Health Accelerators globally with locations in Munich, Singapore and the Silicon Valley. The Digital Health Innovation Chapter shapes the future of healthcare together with patients, providers and payers and has accelerated more than 75 transformative digital health projects together with startups in the last 5 years. Arnab Roy is a leader in ZS' R&D Excellence practice area, where he focuses on development of ZS’ digital health & decentralized clinical trial analytics capabilities. Arnab advises pharma & medical devices companies across a diverse set of issue areas including use of digital health in clinical development, study design for digital therapeutics trials and validation studies, digitally enabled patient & site engagement transformation and driving adoption of digital measurements in clinical trials.

Ariel V. Dowling, PhD is a Senior Director and Head of the Sensing and Measurement group within the Data Sciences Institute at Takeda Pharmaceuticals. In this role, her group oversees the assessment, validation, and deployment of digital devices and endpoints across the organization. She was previously a Senior Clinical Data Scientist at Biogen Inc where she managed the wearable sensors deployed in clinical trials for Parkinson’s Disease. Ariel was also the algorithm team lead at MC10 Inc and worked at BioSensics LLC. Ariel holds an MS and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and an AB and BE in Mechanical Engineering from Dartmouth College. She currently serves on the Strategic Advisory Board of the Digital Medicine (DiMe) Society.

Jon is currently the Director of Product Design at Click Therapeutics, where he is leading a cross-functional team of product designers, content designers, and user experience researchers in the design of patient experiences for prescription digital therapeutics. For more than 25 years, Jon has been immersed in the world of understanding people’s needs and creating products and experiences that make their lives easier and better. He has led strategic design teams for Designit and Cooper, as well as a founder of Catalyst Group, an early UX-focused design consulting firm. Jon began his career as a Human Factors Engineer, designing and testing products for Digital Equipment Corporation. He has also delivered design training courses (Design Thinking, Design Leadership, Creative Ideation, Service Design) to multiple organizations including; NASA, Air Force Academy, and the CIA.

Andrew Geronimo is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Penn State College of Medicine. Dr. Geronimo’s research focuses on the role of technology in quality of life for those with ALS, ranging from applications in digital health to the study of brain-based communication tools.

Jason is a life science leader with more than twenty-five years of both corporate and non-profit leadership experience across research and development, project management, client services, business development, and manufacturing. He has led strategic initiatives determining the future direction for functions and organizations during times of transformative change. He has successfully driven organizational change through the development and introduction of new processes, services, tools, and methodologies. Jason is currently the Chief Operating Officer at the Global Alzheimer’s Platform (GAP) Foundation aimed at accelerating and optimizing clinical development for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s patients and President and Founder at Pintail Solutions, a niche management advisory company. Prior to GAP, Jason led business development for a several key accounts at YourEncore, a life science and consumer product consulting company. Before that, Jason had global responsibilities for project management at Covance Central Laboratories. He was focused on improving the processes and capabilities of his organization to ensure consistent application of best practices for more than 200 pharmaceutical and biotech clients, leading a team of nearly 400 global partners. Prior to Covance, Jason spent thirteen years at Eli Lilly and Company, within Project Management, Product Research and Development (PR&D), and manufacturing. He has led Lilly’s Project Management Office and many drug development teams. While leading the Project Management Office, Jason led and deployed Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) methodology across Lilly Research Laboratories (LRL), changing the tools, processes, and behaviors of thousands of employees.

Jason earned his BS, Chemical Engineering degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Lee Lehman-Becker is Global Head of Partnering for Roche Information Solutions (RIS), the health tech arm of Roche Diagnostics. Prior to joining Roche Diagnostics Partnering, Lee was the Global Research & Development Lead for Roche Pharma's Digital & Personalized Healthcare Partnering team, where she focused on M&A, joint development, and licensing deals with partners focused on multi-modal data, advanced analytics / AI, and digital tools. She previously consulted to Life Sciences and Health Tech industry players on M&A, PMI, growth strategy, and portfolio development. Lee holds an MBA in Strategy from The Wharton School and a BA from Yale University. Her passion is for finding new ways to enrich patient lives and outcomes using emerging technologies.

Dr. Awad is the founding director of Boston University’s Neuromotor Recovery Laboratory—a cross-disciplinary research group that works to develop, study, and translate rehabilitation therapies and technologies, with focus on wearable robots, sensors, and digital therapeutics. At Boston University, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, with a secondary appointment in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and is an affiliated faculty member of the Center for Neurophotonics. At Harvard University, he is a founding core faculty member of the Harvard Move Lab and an Associate in the Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. At Harvard Medical School, he is on the research staff at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and is an Associate in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Awad is an Associate Editor for leading open access journals at the intersection of rehabilitation and technology, including Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation and the IEEE Open Journal of Engineering in Medicine and Biology. In addition to his academic and editorial positions, he is a member of the Stroke Rehabilitation Scientific Advisory Board for ReWalk Robotics and serves as Chief Science Advisor for MedRhythms.

Anobel Odisho, MD MPH, is an Associate Professor of Urology at the University of California, San Francisco and a clinical informaticist at the UCSF Center for Digital Health Innovation (CDHI). He completed his medical training and urologic surgery residency at UCSF and a Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship at the University of Washington before joining the UCSF faculty in 2017. His research focuses on clinical informatics and the development, implementation, and evaluation of digital health programs that extend telehealth into asynchronous, automated patient care. He has developed an EHR-integrated clinical trial screening platform for urologic oncology patients and oversees the development of the Urologic Outcomes Data Warehouse at UCSF. At CDHI, he leads the Virtual Care Programs for the Digital Patient Experience program. He has launched virtual care programs for patients undergoing prostate biopsy, lung transplant patient home spirometry remote monitoring, automated IBD symptom assessment, and a COVID symptom self-triage tool. He has also published on recent trends in telehealth utilization and the impacts on health equity.

Dr. Jin Lee is the Director of Digital Health at Astellas Pharma Inc. She focuses on new product development and commercialization globally. Dr. Lee formerly worked at the innovation centers and venture arms of Humana and Providence St. Joseph Health. She also co-founded and worked in multiple startups in the maternal/ child, education, and radiology space.

Based in Silicon Valley, Dr. Lee advises and invests in multiple digital health startups and accelerator programs. She also serves on multiple nonprofit boards, including the American Heart Association and the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association.

Dr. Lee is a Presidential Leadership Scholar (selected by four American presidential centers) and has been a featured speaker at multiple events such as the TEDxPeacePlaza, Sirius XM radio, SXSW, American Academy of Pediatrics, and Aspen Institute Children's Forum. She received her Ph.D in Neuropsychology from the University of Oxford and BA in Biology and Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Staffaroni is a neuropsychologist and assistant professor at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center. He provides clinical neuropsychological assessments, and his research focuses on predicting disease progression and improving endpoints for clinical trials in neurodegenerative diseases. He obtained a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University, with an emphasis in neuropsychology. He completed a clinical internship at the West Los Angeles VA Health Care System and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center.

His research program aims to prepare for clinical trials in neurodegenerative diseases by: 1) developing and validating trial endpoints, 2) leveraging multimodal neuroimaging and fluid biomarkers to predict patients’ clinical course and inform patient stratification for trials, and 3) evaluating novel approaches for selecting clinical trial endpoints. He leads two studies of remote digital data collection in frontotemporal dementia using smartphone assessments and sensor technologies. He is also interested in healthy aging and studies the aging brain through a combination of structural and functional imaging.

Dr. Hyein Cho is the research director of Wise Therapeutics, a company dedicated to exploring the positive therapeutic potential of mobile gaming by combining neuroscience with accessible and game-based treatments. She received her Ph.D. from the Graduate Center, CUNY, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Her research background includes using neuromodulation, neuroimaging, biomarkers, and digital health tools to better understand and treat the underlying cognitive and affective disruptions in neuropsychiatric illnesses.

Dr. Bryan Hansen is a systems neuroscientist and data scientist with more than 10 years of experience developing novel electrophysiological and behavioral paradigms. His studies began in non-human primates, and mouse animal models, then extended findings to patients with epilepsy, and finally to digitally enabled clinical trials. Relying on his training as a neuroscientist and utilizing his data science skillset, Bryan constantly seeks to bridge the gap between biology and computation using innovative methods in signal processing, statistics, and predictive analytics. This work has been published and cited in many high-profile journals and presented internationally.

Currently, Bryan is the Director of Data Science and Digital Health in Janssen Research & Development (JRD), leading the digital health strategy for Neurodegeneration. In this role, he represents JRD Data Science across several clinical trials focused on driving impact for Janssen’s neurodegeneration programs. Externally, he represents Janssen within various consortia and partners closely with external innovation teams to identify novel datasets and solutions.

Before joining Janssen, Bryan was an associate principal scientist in the Global Digital Analytics and Technologies team at Merck Research Laboratories. Before joining Merck in 2015, Bryan was a post-doctoral fellow at the Salk Institute in the Systems Neurobiology Laboratories, where his work focused on neural mechanisms underlying attention-related changes in brain state. Bryan received his doctorate in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Texas Health Science Center, focusing on systems and computational neuroscience, and a Bachelor's in Neuroscience from Baylor University.

Nico has over a decade of experience ushering novel digital solutions towards the advancement of research, previously Nico was the VP of Business Development at Tissue Analytics, a sophisticated skin and wound computer vision digital technology company and previously the Head of Real World Data Evidence for Net Health, a provider of EMR solutions.

Amir Kesten is Head of Product Solutions at Huma, working with BioPharma customers, partners and the larger healthcare ecosystem to shape and build Huma’s best of breed SaMD, Remote Patient Monitoring and Decentralized Trials products. Amir has over a decade of experience building novel regulated digital solutions for Pharma and Medtech. Most notably, as Senior Director, Digital Health at Teva Pharmaceuticals Amir led the development of pioneering digital health solutions for Asthma and COPD. Amir holds a BSc and a MSc in computer science from the Hebrew university in Jerusalem, as well as an MBA from Fox Business school.

Jane has focused on improving clinical trials and patient experience for more than 25 years. Her passion is driving innovation into the trial design and execution to get medicines to patients faster. Jane switched from molecule focus to portfolio focus about 13 years ago, first focused on patient recruitment, then patient voice and input, then patient facing technology and its adoption. She’s able to merge them all together in her current role as VP Innovation at Curebase, building DCT technology and services to drive access and inclusion to trials.

She’s also an initiative co-lead and a member of the DTRA leadership committee. She worked at Roche / Genentech for 17 years in many roles, including operational program manager for hematology ultimately working on driving patient-facing technology into global trials. In prior lives, she held various roles in DCT optimization at LabCorp and ran global trials at Lilly and Sanofi. She’s a Canuck who loves San Francisco and the ocean.

Marta Karas works as Senior Manager, Statistics with Takeda pharmaceutical company. Formerly, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Onnela Lab in the Department of Biostatistics at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health where she worked on methods for digital phenotyping and its applications for data collected in people with ALS. Her statistical methods interests include: methods for processing, features extraction and analysis of accelerometry data, power estimation in complex settings, functional regression methods, R software development. Marta received PhD in Biostatistics from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in December 2021. She received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in Poland in 2013 and 2015. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, she worked as a research assistant at Indiana University and as an analyst for Opera Software Internet browser company. In her free time, Marta enjoys connecting with people and running.

As Chief Clinical Officer at Woebot Health, Dr. Athena Robinson directs the Clinical Research and Development team. Her research and clinical expertise is in technology-leveraged methodologies for implementing evidence-based psychotherapeutics. Specifically, Dr. Robinson has extensive experience in implementation science and research-focused intervention development employing evidence-supported theory and treatment (e.g. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)), and has facilitated the delivery of such interventions via various in-person or technology leveraged formats. At Woebot Health, she oversees the company's program of research and has crafted and executed several successful clinical trials investigating Woebot's efficacy, acceptability, and feasibility among various clinical indications, symptoms of interest, and populations. She also led the initiative to and then established the Woebot Health Clinical Diversity Advisory Board and is co-chair of the Woebot Health Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Robinson has been NIH funded for several years, starting in 2001. She has been Principal Investigator (PI) on various trials and successfully completed research funded by the National Institutes of Mental Health, National Institutes of Drug Abuse (NIDA), National Cancer Institute, National Collegiate Athletics Association, and Stanford University. Dr. Robinson has supervised and collaborated with research partners (industry, academic, government, research organizations) and staff on all aspects of designing, administering, and running clinical trials within the digital therapeutics field. She has written, edited, and published peer-reviewed articles and other book chapters on a wide variety of topics relevant to mental health care. Dr Robinson is also Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine where she continues teaching, and is a licensed and practicing psychologist who has provided mental health care to adolescents and adults for more than 20 years.

Noah Craft MD, PhD, DTMH is a physician-scientist-entrepreneur. He is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of People Science, the makers of CHLOE, the Consumer Health Learning and Organizing Ecosystem. People Science is a people-forward, clinical research organization for the R&D of alternative and complex medicines –medical cannabis and cannabinoids, psychedelics, probiotics, nootropics, food-as-medicine, and nutraceuticals. Satoshi Iwasaki, Senior Director, Digital Healthcare Innovation, Corporate & Product Strategy of Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma America, Inc. Joined to Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Corporation in 1998, started his carrier as a pharmacologist and switched his role to be in charge of Corporate & Product Strategy from 2012. Moved to the US and established the Digital Healthcare Innovation team which in charge of the strategic planning and the implementation of “Around the Pill solution”, exploring digital solutions to tackling the challenging points in patient journeys since 2019.

Ricky Y. Choi, MD, MPH is Clinical Assistant Professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine in the Division of General Pediatrics where he attends on the newborn nursery service and in outpatient clinic. He also leads digital health initiatives for the Division. In the past he has served in a number of clinical leadership positions including as the Department Head of Pediatrics at Asian Health Services Community Health Center in Oakland, CA. He has held multiple national physician leadership roles for many years including the Board of Directors for the National Physicians Alliance and as the founding Chair of the Immigrant Child Health Group of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a past Fellow of the California HealthCare Foundation Health Care Leadership Program.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Choi serves as Global Medical Director at Samsung Electronics where he leads virtual care, strategy and strategic partnerships. Initially based out of Samsung's headquarters in South Korea and now in the Bay Area, Dr. Choi's expertise is in delivering improved clinical and financial outcomes by using consumer technologies to drive health engagement.

Dr. Vaziri is a Founder and CEO of BioSensics, a biomedical firm focused on the development of wearable sensors and digital health platforms for clinical trials and research. Dr. Vaziri work presents a unique combination of academic research, product development, and small business experience. He co-founded BioSensics in 2007, when he was a Research Associate at the Harvard School of Engineering. Till 2019, Dr. Vaziri was a tenured Professor of Engineering at Northeastern University, where his research was mainly focused on materials science, biomechanics, computational modeling and numerical simulations. Dr Renae Beaumont is an award-winning child and adolescent psychologist who is the founder of the video-gaming based program Secret Agent Society (SAS). SAS is an evidence-based skills training framework that has been shown to improve the emotion regulation skills, social skills and behavior of eight- to twelve-year-old children with Autism, ADHD and Anxiety Disorders. To date, the lives of over 25 000 children and families in nine countries worldwide have been touched by SAS. Originally from Australia, Dr Beaumont moved to the US seven years ago, where she is a faculty member and clinician at Weill Cornell Medicine, New York Presbyterian Hospital. Adam Vogel, PhD, is behavioural neuroscientist and tenured Professor at The University of Melbourne, Australia. He has 20 years’ experience in the university, clinical sciences, and technology sectors. His research is focussed on assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing dysfunction in neurodegenerative disease. This includes a focus meaningful digital biomarker development and digital therapeutics. She has served as head of research for Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy, the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation, the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration and the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s MDA Venture Philanthropy. Dr. Hesterlee has also served as project lead for rare disease gene therapy programs at Pfizer, Inc; as Chief Executive Officer of Lion Therapeutics, a special purpose entity of Askbio, Inc.; and as Executive Vice President and Head of the Neuromuscular Division of Askbio Inc. She has been involved in numerous efforts to remove barriers to therapy development for rare disease and foster interactions between patient advocacy groups and industry. She received her Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Arizona in 1999.

Dr. Joe Powers brings more than 20 years of experience leading cutting-edge digital health programs in pharma, academia and in various startups. Most recently, Joe served as VP, Global Digital Innovation at Otsuka where he advised executive leadership across 100+ operating companies worldwide on projects and programs that leverage digital solutions to improve health and wellness. Eddie Martucci is a co-founder and CEO of Akili, Inc., a leading digital medicine company. Srivatsan has over 30 years of experience in growing businesses in the digital, data, AI, analytics, IT and operations management areas across Healthcare and Life Sciences sector. Most recently at IQVIA he was responsible for driving growth and leading product development and operations of R&DS Technologies. He supported the world’s leading CRO with their digital transformation needs and built a successful clinical trial technology business that helped better patient, site, and sponsor engagement. Prior to that, as Venture partner, he grew Cognizant’s foray into Digital & Platforms. He identified, incubated, and grew innovative digitally enabled ventures across the Healthcare & Life Sciences value chain. Srivatsan was recognized as the top 100 most inspiring people in the life sciences industry award by PharmaVOICE publication in 2010 and 2021.

Dr. Marisa Cruz is the Chief Medical Officer of Empatica, a company focused on developing digital biomarkers to improve research and clinical outcomes. She blends a passion for patient care with deep experience in digital health and regulatory policy, leveraging previous roles as the Chief Medical Officer of Limbix Health, the EVP of Regulatory and Clinical Affairs at Everly Health, and the Senior Medical Advisor for the Digital Health Unit at the US Food and Drug Administration. Dr. Sharief Taraman is Chief Executive Officer of Cognoa, a leading pediatric behavioral health and data company developing AI-based technologies to enable early and equitable diagnosis and care for children living with developmental and behavioral health conditions. Dr. Rosner is a nationally recognized researcher and entrepreneur in digital health with a focus on leveraging patient generated health data (PGHD) to automate feedback to healthcare providers, and to close the post-encounter follow up loop between patients and healthcare providers. Between 2008-2010, Dr. Rosner worked in health economics and outcomes research as a Medical Director at Archimedes, Inc., performing in silico clinical trials, publishing in the peer-reviewed literature, and influencing policy and clinical practice guidelines. Between 2011-2018, he was the founding Chief Medical Information Officer of a digital patient engagement company, where he created automated remote patient guidance and monitoring technologies, empowering healthcare providers to receive follow up on patient outcomes. In that capacity, he worked with C-suite health system leaders throughout the country, and top leadership at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. He was the lead author of CMS' Merit Based Incentive Payment System's Improvement Activity IA-BE-14, Engage Patients and Families to Guide Improvement in the System of Care. Dr. Rosner also led the Patient Engagement and Empowerment Reporting national consortium to move the industry towards quality metrics associated with engaging and empowering the patient. His research at UCSF involves understanding clinician and patient behaviors, digital phenotypes, and outcomes leveraging PGHD and the audit logs of the electronic health record, as well as developing platforms that promote and facilitate greater adoption of feedback in clinical practice.

Dr. Rosner serves as a digital health clinical advisor to several national digital health not-for-profit organizations, and continues to work in policy related to digital health with the FDA and CMS. He holds an MD and a PhD (Chemical Engineering) from the University of Minnesota and is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics.

Emily Kunka is a Digital Transformation Project Lead at UCB, based in San Francisco, CA. In her role, Emily leads projects that help solve some of the most interesting, innovative, and pressing issues which must be addressed to deliver the promising future of digitally transformed healthcare through high-quality digital products and solutions.

Joining the organization in 2020, and utilizing her deep knowledge of digital design, strategy, and product and project management, Emily is a leader, influencer, and change agent within UCB. Emily translates patient and caregiver needs into an achievable digital vision and roadmap that will improve patient experiences and outcomes by bringing transformational projects to life.

Prior to UCB she worked at Science 37, at the forefront of virtualizing trial design and democratizing trial access by putting patients first. As a thought leader in the Decentralized Clinical Trial (DCT) and hybrid trial models, she designed and implemented trials which could be conducted within the patient’s home using telemedicine and in-home nursing. Emily wholeheartedly believes that the future of healthcare delivery will no longer be confined to the four walls of a doctor’s office and is convinced that emerging technologies, real world data, and connected health can (and will) provide insights that will allow us to better predict, diagnose, and manage diseases, ultimately improving patient outcomes.

Tom has over 23 years of clinical development experience, including 8 years of experience in developing and deploying digital technologies in clinical trials. Beyond his daily responsibilities, he serves as a key Genentech representative in a variety in cross-industry digital health technology initiatives, including the Clinical Trial Transformation Initiative Digital Health Trials, the Digital Medicine Society, and Transcelerate. He has been at Roche since 2010 serving in a variety of roles within clinical development. An exercise physiologist by training and an avid bicycle racer since he was 16, he has been continuously tinkering with the various digital gadgets on himself before testing them on other people. He lives in San Mateo, CA with his wife Elizabeth and 4 young children.

A founding team member of Modus Health, Teri became CEO in December 2017. She previously served as Modus Health’s Chief Scientific Officer and was instrumental in obtaining the funding and leading the product development efforts that resulted in StepWatch4, the latest generation of Modus Health’s innovative mobile heath solution for the clinical and research markets. Prior to joining Modus Health, Teri served as the first research scientist of startup Orthocare Innovations from 2008 to 2013. Teri received her doctorate in bioengineering in 2007 from the University of Utah and her BS from Mississippi State University in 2002. Teri is passionate about improving peoples’ mobility, and accurate walking monitoring is essential to this aim.

Dr. Yael Bensoussan is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and a fellowship-trained laryngologist with advanced expertise in voice, swallowing and upper airway evaluation and treatment. She is also an avid proponent of multidisciplinary care and has led multiple patient-education initiatives around tracheostomy care.

Prior to joining USF Health, she completed her medical school at the University of Montreal and her surgical residency training at the University of Toronto, Canada. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Laryngology (voice, airway and swallowing disorders) at the University of Southern California. Dr. Bensoussan’s background also includes a degree in Speech Pathology and a prior career in music, which has led her to her passion for the voice and for laryngeal disorders.

While completing her clinical fellowship, she also obtained her Master of Science (MSc) in System Leadership and Innovations and the Institute of Health Policy, Evaluation and Management at the University of Toronto, Canada, where she worked on applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the laryngology field. She is developing an expertise in integration of AI to the field of voice research and is involved in many projects of healthcare digitization and data-driven care. Passionate about optimization of health systems efficiency and algorithms of care, she is building bridges with multiple partners to integrate technology to optimize the quality of care provided to her patients. Dr. Bensoussan has served on the Voice Committee of the American Laryngological Association (ALA), and was awarded the Young Faculty/ Practitioner Award of the ALA in 2021 for her research work on AI and gender-affirming voice care.

Craig Lipset is an advisor, educator, advocate and innovator focused on novel solutions for clinical trials and medicine development. He is the founder of Clinical Innovation Partners, providing advisory and board leadership with pharma, tech and investors. Craig is Co-Chair for the Decentralized Trials & Research Alliance and Vice President of the Foundation for Sarcoidosis. He is Adjunct Assistant Professor in Health Informatics at Rutgers University, and serves on the Advisory Council for HL7 Project Vulcan and External Stakeholder Board for IMI Trials at Home. Craig was previously the Head of Clinical Innovation and Venture Partner at Pfizer, and on the founding management teams for two successful startup ventures.
