Sara is the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Managing Director, Center for Innovation in Digital HealthCare at Massachusetts General Hospital. In these roles, she manages all aspects of the initiatives and programs relative to data and technology investments, research, innovation, commercialization and strategic operations. Sara is a founding executive of MGH’s Center for Innovation in Digital HealthCare, established in 2018 to guide and support the lifecycle of Mass General’s Digital Health portfolio. This includes articulating internal and external market needs, solution design, identifying growth opportunities, creating business strategies, and securing strategic partnerships to achieve the vision.
Prior to this role Sara served as a Senior Managing Director of Development for multiple departments across Mass General. During her eight-year tenure, annual philanthropic and sponsored research support increased ten-fold. Prior to Mass General, Sara served as a Director of Development for Boston Children’s Hospital where in partnership with the Board of Trustees and Hospital leadership, Sara spearheaded the initiative to establish a hospital presence in strategic national and international markets. Sara began her career at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center working in research operations, public affairs and corporate relations.
Sara is a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Foundation Board of Trustees, and an Executive Member for the Board for Fern Health and CarePassport. She was named as one of the Boston Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 in a year that will never be published so as to preserve her youth.
Sara earned a BA in Communications and Science from Fordham University in New York, NY.
