This year's Pharma Supply Chain and Logistics Innovation programme, held in the Courtyard Marriott by Basel, Switzerland, covered a variety of topics including end-to-end supply chain, supply chain optimization, product security and authentication, regulatory compliance, the challenges of a disrupted supply chain post-covid, supply chain management and differentiation, as well as technological advancements to improve the security of pharmaceuticals.
The Two-day event was the 7th Edition that came up with new flavors and featured talks on decarbonizing Pharma Transport. Speakers like Jane Rasmussen from Novo Nordisk, Guenaelle Savre-Piou from MorphoSys, Dr. Yvonne Ziegler from Frankfurt University, Ingrid Riklin from Emball’ISO, Alex Guillen from Tive, Marc Evrard from Vifor Pharma, Gianpiero Lorusso from Merck, Marc Weissenfeld from Bayer Consumer Health, Marc Evrard from Vifor Pharma, Yoram Eshel from Cannabilog, Karl Waldman from TraceLink, Daniel Fritz from Novartis and SONIA BEN HAMIDA from International Air Transport Association (IATA) discussed, footprint & SC Operations Transformation, Applications of Lean Principles, IOT in real time Monitoring and Logistics Quality in Times of Supply Chain Disruption.

The Pharma Supply Chain & Logistics Innovation Programme was a success as it assisted all its attendees with aspects of supply chain and logistics. An interactive panel on “Serialization- A Worldwide Challenge” was Moderated by Zeeshan Ahmed from Cosmotrace and Amit Deshpande from Novartis, Carlos Ruiz Martinez from Almirall and Hieko Trefzger from Roche attended as panelists.
